Product Detail

Statuario Venato Marble Slab - White Base with Bold Grey Veining

Statuario Venato (雪花白) is a premium white marble quarried in the Carrara region of Italy, prized for its luminous white background and bold, dramatic grey veining. Unlike subtler marbles, Statuario Venato features striking, high-contrast vein movement that makes each slab a natural work of art-ideal for feature walls, kitchen islands, and statement countertops in luxury residential and hospitality projects.

Physical Properties of Statuario Marble

Statuario marble typically exhibits a density of 2.6-2.8 g/cm³, water absorption below 0.5%, Mohs hardness of 3-4, and compressive strength ranging from 90 to 150 MPa. These values place it among the premium natural building stones-harder and denser than limestone, with lower porosity that makes it well-suited for polished countertops, wall cladding, and floor tiles when properly sealed.

Application Products from Statuario Venato Slabs

One of the key advantages of Statuario Venato marble is its versatility across multiple interior stone applications. The same slab can be cut, profiled, and finished into a wide range of products-making it an ideal single-source material for projects that require visual consistency across kitchen, bathroom, and living spaces.

Countertops & Kitchen Islandsands

Statuario Venato is approved for kitchen countertops and island tops. The white base brightens the space while the bold grey veins create a focal point. Waterfall island profiles-where the slab continues down the sides-elevate the sculptural quality of the stone.

Wall Cladding & Feature Wallsalls

For feature walls and accent surfaces, Statuario Venato creates a gallery-like impact. The large-format slabs showcase the full vein pattern, turning a wall into a natural canvas. Book-matched installations-mirroring adjacent slabs-amplify the visual drama.

Production Process - From Quarry to Finished Product

Every Statuario Venato product from Apexstone follows a controlled production process. Our Xiamen facility combines Italian gang-saw technology with CNC precision cutting and manual quality inspection at every stage.

Step 1 - Block Selection: Marble blocks are hand-selected at the quarry in Italy, inspected for vein pattern, white purity, and structural soundness. Only blocks that meet Apexstone's quality criteria are approved for export.ort.

Step 2 - Gang-Saw Cutting: Raw blocks are mounted on the gang-saw and sliced into full-size slabs at 18-20 mm reference thickness. The cutting process uses chilled water and steel shot abrasive to produce a clean, flat surface.

Step 3 - Surface Finishing: Slabs are processed through polishing, honing, or brushing lines. Polished finishes maximize the white luminosity and vein contrast; honed finishes provide a soft matte surface; brushed finishes add texture.

Step 4 - CNC Cutting & Edge Profiling:ing: For custom products-countertops, vanity tops, tabletops-the slabs are cut on CNC bridge saws to exact CAD dimensions. Edge profiles are milled on CNC routers.

Step 5 - Sealing & Quality Control:rol: Finished pieces are sealed with penetrating stone sealer. Each piece undergoes final inspection for dimensional tolerance, surface defects, and vein direction before packing.
