Pandora Quartzite Coffee Tables
The coffee table is the piece a living room is actually built around, and it is the stone purchase with the highest design-per-dollar ratio: a small top, a big pattern. Pandora suits the role unusually well. The Brazilian quartzite's cream ground and large brown floral movement give even a 36 in round top the presence of a much larger installation, the natural crystal structure glitters under lamp light, and the hardness of quartzite means the surface tolerates cups, books, feet and the general traffic of a real living room far better than marble at a similar look.
Formats for living rooms and lounges
Coffee tables live on a compact size list, and we cut Pandora across it: 30 in and 36 in round tops for standard sofas, 48 in round or oblong tops for sectionals and hotel lounge groupings, and smaller square tops for side-table pairings. Shape vocabulary runs from circle and oval tops on slim brass or gold bases to plinth and block low tables cut from thick stone — the monolithic look that reads as sculpture rather than furniture. Nesting sets are a popular request: a larger round top paired with a smaller one that tucks beneath, cut from the same slab so the movement carries across both. Floating tops on recessed iron frames and pedestal bases that keep the floor visually open round out the range.
Top thickness follows the style: 2 cm (3/4 in) for classic tops on bases, and thick-cut 3 cm (1-1/4 in) or heavier slabs for plinth and block formats where the stone itself is the structure. Edges are eased or bullnosed as standard, with custom profiles available for furniture brands building a collection.
Pattern placement on a small stage
On a coffee table, one bloom can carry the whole design — or ruin it if it falls awkwardly across the edge. Every Pandora top is planned on the image of the actual slab before cutting: the strongest movement is centred on round tops, run lengthwise on oblongs, and kept clear of the front edge where hands and mugs land. Tops are CNC-cut, polished until the crystal structure catches light, and inspected against the approved placement drawing. For hotel and lounge projects ordering in quantity, tops are matched by movement character across the set so a row of tables reads as a family rather than strangers.

Coffee tables take the most casual abuse of any furniture in the room, and this is where quartzite quietly wins. It will not etch from a forgotten mug of coffee or a slice of lemon the way marble does, it resists scratches from books and remotes, and a sealed surface wipes clean with a pH-neutral cleaner. For hotel lounges and lobbies — where housekeeping teams need surfaces that look premium on day one and day one thousand — that combination of look and low maintenance is the actual specification argument, whatever the mood board says.
